The world is going crazy about solar energy. Wood Mackenzie estimates that total global capacity will reach 6.3 TWdc by 2034.

The U.S. market share will likely exceed 500 GWdc by then as well. That’s a lot of solar panels working to produce clean energy. Meanwhile, the percentage of decommissioned solar panels is expected to exponentially grow as well. Some panels coming offline have years of operation left and therefore can be remarketed, while others are at their end-of-life and ready for recycling.

In this webinar, we’ll interview business experts, Bardia Vahidi, President of IBEC Inc., and Brian Musil, CEO of The Solar Recycling Company, about the opportunities that exist in the secondary solar market.

By viewing this webinar, you will learn:

  • The state of the Reuse & Recycling markets today and what to expect in the next decade
  • A brief overview of the R2v3 standards for solar panel reuse and recycling
  • Factors to consider when determining whether to reuse or recycle
