Wood Mackenzie expects residential storage capacity to grow by roughly 88 percent this year. In 2027, the overall U.S. residential storage market will increase fourfold. Yet, the average retail price of a battery unit ranges from $13,000 to $18,000, according to EnergySage, which can be cost-prohibitive. Furthermore, many consumers question the recyclability of battery systems. A non-spillable, non-gassing AGM lead-acid battery can power most homes, costs less than new, and is 100 percent recyclable.

In this webinar, John Kincaide, President at 2ndLife Batteries®, will discuss the economic value of reusable lead-acid batteries for home energy storage and their end-of-life management parameters.

By viewing this webinar, you will learn:

  • Overview of the ESS residential market
  • Non-spillable, non-gassing AGM lead-acid battery units compared to other ESS solutions
  • End-of-life management for lead-acid batteries
